The Darkest Minds Movie
I'm very happy to tell you guys that The Darkest Minds film is now officially on DVD, Digital, and Blu-Ray!
The film only covers the first book.
Chad Hodge wrote the script.
Jennifer Yuh Nelson directed it.
Amandla Stenberg was cast as Ruby, Harris Dickinson was cast as Liam, Miya Cech plays Zu, and Skylan Brooks signed on for Chubs! Also in the cast? Mandy Moore as Cate and Patrick Gibson as Clancy.
Unfortunately, I can't answer your questions about what they did or didn't include in the movie--I wasn’t involved with the creative decisions or casting.
As far as I know, there will no be sequels.
